Luke Motley, IV follows three generations of bank presidents in small town East Texas. Luke has experienced an early understanding of the fundamentals of business, by and through his family’s business and finance roots. Building on that knowledge, through his education and legal experience, Luke brings expansive commercial expertise to every case.
Joining the firm in 1990, Luke has nearly three decades of experience in which he has developed a deep appreciation for working through complex commercial problems with the primary focus of meeting the needs of his clients. He is skilled to quickly analyze a case, offer reasonable and efficient resolution, aiming to save his client time and money. His style can be direct and strong when necessary, or East Texas friendly. Whatever the case, Luke is willing to roll up his sleeves for his clients whether he serves in the role of lawyer or mediator. His proven success in case settlements extends to mediation, arbitration, jury trials, bench trials, and appeals.
As an extension of practicing law, Luke joins the other lawyers at the firm in providing services to small businesses. The law firm recognizes the need for small business clients to remain focused on their mission, allowing them to generate profit and continue on from generation to generation. Luke appreciates guiding clients in strategic planning for business growth, protection of client assets, litigation control and risk management.
Luke obtained his private pilot license in 2001 allowing him to better serve the law firms out of area clients.
